The character of Mushy The Martian and the Mushy The Martian book series was originally created to be used as a tool for teachers. Each book read by the child would promote child safety through messages of anti-bullying, following directions, and dealing with strangers. The books would be available for the child to take home where the parents can continue the message that their child is learning in school. This helps the student, parent and school to all be on the same page when dealing with sensitive issues that the child may encounter on a daily basis.
